I offer kudos to Ms. Schulte-Albert for pointing out the structural problems of large scale government bailout packages. I agree wholeheartedly with her deduction that a true free market system would not have faced the problems perpetuated by government intervention and corporatism.  However, I disagree with her view that rewarding stimulus spending to job creating companies in targeted sectors is a smarter move than giant stimulus packages.  Any form of stimulus is a bad idea.  Whenever government involves itself in a sector it inflates the prices within it while picking winners and losers in the industry.  The only real solution to these problems is no government intervention and allowing markets to operate freely.  Read More
